The Amos Educational Grant/ Resolution #5 of Thrall's By-Laws:

"Whereas the Brethren of Thrall Lodge, being desirous of giving financial support to a Graduating Senior of a member of Thrall Lodge in good standing being Son-Daughter-Grandson-Granddaughter who wishes to continue his or her education and receive a degree from an institution of higher learning, established an Educational Fund in the name of Merle Amos." Candidates are required to submit a short essay explaining their plans for the future, and explain what Freemasonry means to them. This essay is due back to the AEG Committee by April 1st of each year.
